One officer stated, fearing for their safety, he fired his duty weapon at the man, however, the man was not struck by the gunfire. The man then immediately complied with the officer’s commands to drop the gun and was taken into custody. Officers later learned that he was the business owner of the location. The man was subsequently released from custody, police said.

During the investigation, detectives learned that the restaurant and storage area in the back of the property were broken into by an unknown suspect.

No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made. The Major Case Unit is the lead of the investigation and continues searching for the suspect or suspects who broke into the property.
